E Philz started writing deep lyrical poetry at age 12 and in the following 5 years turned it into music. Born in Passaic, New Jersey, E Philz has lived everywhere from Passaic, Paterson and around north and central Jersey to Austin, El Paso & just north of Dallas, Texas. Being from New Jersey, E Philz had an opportunity to experience hip hop at a time when it had just become mainstream. With influences like, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Redman, Mobb Deep, LL Cool J, Naughty By Nature, it was easy for E Philz to spit his poetry about life, love, thoughts, feelings & frustrations to instrumentals.

As E Philz was in Texas at the time he discovered his talent, his unique style kept him connected to the hip hop scene back home. He was driven to take the soul, bluesy type sound of the south, incorporate it with his east coast flow and make something that could easily be considered "ear candy." Being back and forth from Jersey to Texas since 1992, E Philz has released several mixtapes & performed everywhere from the boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ to Far West Rodeo in El Paso, TX.

Wanting to be involved in all aspects of the entertainment business, he got his first break as an extra in the movie "The Faculty" and has also been in other movies/shows such as "The New Guy" and "Friday Night Lights." E Philz also did some stage acting in El Paso & was a lead in a black box theatre production. He also landed his first speaking role in Pete Delorenzo's "The Mentor" which is in pre-production.

Recently E Philz released a single via Island Def Jam digital distribution entitled "Ready Or Not." It's available on iTunes & most digital distributors. Currently E Philz is the owner of 730 Enterprizes which is a management company soon expanding to CD duplication/graphic design and artist development. He also hosts 730 Music Radio, an online radio show mainly geared towards underground music.

E Philz's goal is to put together a disciplined, dedicated and determined team that will demand respect throughout the entertainment industry.
